MotoGP 2024 Qatar, Lusail Free Practice Two Results
Marc Marquez leads free practice two from the Gasgas KTM duo of Augusto Fernandez and Pedro Acosta.

Marc Marquez topped the free practice two session in rain soaked conditions at the Lusail circuit ahead of the Gasgas KTM squad of Augusto Fernandez and rookie Pedro Acosta, who took little time to adjust to the wet track conditions.
In fact, it was him along with the KTMs of Augusto Fernandez and Jack Miller who exchanged the lead multiple times early on before being displaced by Marquez with twenty minutes to go.
Brad Binder finished the session in fifth place to make it four KTMs in the top five.
Raul Fernandez was the lead Aprilia in sixth ahead of the Ducatis of Enea Bastianini, Fabio Digiannantonio and Alex Marquez.
Zarco again impressed as the lead Honda rider and the overall best rider from the japanese manufacturers as he rounded up the top ten.
Championship protagonists Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin had a lowkey FP2 session as both finished outside the top ten in 12th and 18th respectively.
The top ten places in the free practice two session were not up for grabs, as early on it was decided that due to the rain, the saturday’s FP3 session would be the one dictating places for qualifying practice two.
