Alex Lowes won his first race in four years after passing Andrea Iannone for the lead, who suffered from a mechanical issue. Since then, he was able to fend off the attacks from the chasing pack and stretched his lead to more than a second to take the chequered flag.
Behind Alex Lowes was the Yamaha of Andrea Locatelli and BMW’s Toprak Razgatlioglu who completes the rostrum ahead of Alvaro Bautista.
Nicolo Bulega finished in fifth, ahead of home hero, Remy Gardner and Dominique Aegerter.
Behind Aegerter were the Ducatis of Sam Lowes and Michael Rubens Rinaldi with Rea closing out the top ten
