2024 World Superbike Portimao Pre-season Test, Day Two Results

Toprak Razgatlioglu brings an end to Nicolo Bulega’s reign at the top of the pre-season tests by breaking the lap record on the second day of testing in Portugal, ahead of Nicolo Bulega and Alex Lowes.
Andrea Locatelli led the timesheets early on by being the first rider to go under the 1:40 mark before being displaced by Toprak Razgotlioglu’s time of 1m 39.8.
Nicolo Bulega would then respond with a record-breaking lap time of 1m 39.275 before being surpassed by Toprak Razgatlioglu’s 1m 39.225 in the afternoon.
The lap time would remain the benchmark until the last hour before Razgatlioglu once again went under with a lap time of 1m 39.189.
Alvaro Bautista was once again struggling to find speed, finishing the day in 15th, 1.170 seconds down on Toprak.
MotoGP riders from yesterday were once again present on track before they head off to Sepang for their first official test of the season in Sepang. Francesco Bagnaia once again finished the day as the lead MotoGP rider finishing the day 3.5 seconds adrift from Toprak Razgatlioglu’s time.
